THE SHOP – Dale Roberts is a lifelong resident of Indian Lake. A few years ago, the only auto repair shop in town closed because the owner passed away. Dale decided he had to re-open the business because he knew the locals desperately needed a reliable auto-repair shop in this remote community. Dale was referred to the SBDC, by the local CDC, for help to secure funding. He worked with Advisor Angela Smith and together they completed market research and put his plan and financial projections together. Dale successfully secured funding through a revolving loan fund, and re-opened the shop in early June.
